At our last rehearsal we were introduced to a new idea for the chorus that alto Joyce D. is heading up - The Sunshine Fund! It is something we are trying to help us reach out to, and support, our chorus "family." It is hoped that chorus members will let section leaders know when things are going on in their lives that are a big deal - both joys and concerns. They will then pass that information on to The Sunshine Committee, and the fund will be used to help to share a little "sunshine" by showing support with a little something from the chorus.
This fund exists on the willingness of the chorus members to contribute. On Wednesday, Joyce asked those who felt comfortable doing so to donate a few dollars. If you'd like to support this effort, please give your money to Joyce at rehearsal.
