From Sheri

Hi Everyone -
I hear the concert went very well – I'm so proud!

It takes a tremendous amount of effort on everyone's part to pull off such an amazing event. You are all to be commended – Bravo! Please remember to thank those who were instrumental (pardon the pun) in pulling it all together, most especially Kathy Walburn as Production Manager, Sally Johnson as Librarian (who, at the last possible second, was asked to provide two updated orchestrations for the concert to the ECSO folks!), Jane Falivene as our own personal TicketMaster, Joyce Daubar as our Publicity Chair, the incomparable Joan Cook for sneaking in the notes we're missing while we're going through our sectionals, our rising star Brian Jones, our devoted Section Leaders and Blog Lady and "The Man" of Facebook, and our wonderfully supportive ECSO orchestra and Rich Dumas. Then there's the staff at Connecticut College, John Anthony, Elaine Dunay at the Symphony office, and a host of others who believe in presenting a true work of art to our loyal fans! And finally, none of this would be possible without our incredible visionary Mark Singleton. Who but he would intertwine Dr. Suess and Handel?!? That's artistic genius at its best! Congratulations to everyone!

Yours in Harmony,
Sheri
